In addition to standard admission guidelines, a strict ‘No Bags’ policy will be enforced at Kendrick Lamar at the Bryce Jordan Center.
This policy will include all backpacks, camera bags, diaper bags, ladies handbags, etc... Medical necessities and children’s needs may be carried in a clear sealable bag no larger than the one (1) gallon size. Previously known as K. Dot, Kendrick Lamar is an American hip hop recording artist from Compton, California. Early in his career, before releasing his major label debut, Lamar assembled a significant Internet following while working with notable hip hop artists like Dr. Dre, Drake, Young Jeezy, Talib Kweli, Busta Rhymes, and Lil Wayne.
Kendrick Lamar's long awaited album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, was met with critical acclaim and has been certified Gold by the RIAA. Hip Hop DX named Lamar "Emcee of the Year" for their 2012 Year End Awards. Early this year, Lamar performed the album's lead singles "Swimming Pools (Drank)" and "Poetic Justice" on Saturday Night Live. He also appeared alongside host Adam Levine and The Lonely Island on an SNL Digital Short.
Last week, Lamar released a new video for "Poetic Justice", the Janet Jackson-sampling collaboration with Drake.
Reserved and General Admission tickets go on sale Wednesday, February 27 at 10 a.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center, Eisenhower Auditorium, Penn State Downtown Theatre, Altoona Campus Ticket Outlet, online at Ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 814-865-5555.
Tickets are $29.50. There will be a limited amount of $14.50 tickets for University Park students courtesy of UPAC. The UPAC student presale will start on Tuesday, February 26 at Noon for University Park students at the BJC, Eisenhower, and Downtown Theatre only.
